Gold Rim Exploration Inc. Doubles Victoria Gulch Project's Footprint with Purchase of Neighboring Land
Canada's Gold Rim Exploration Inc. is buying neighboring land, next to their Victoria Gulch project in the Yukon, which they have named Bear Creek, for a figure of approximately CAD $7 million which will add a further 3,127 hectares to the east of the Victoria Gulch project.
The acquisition has nearly doubled the company's land position to 6,000 hectares in the Bonanza Creek region.
Gold Rim Exploration Inc. has said that based on the current geological interpretation of the new area there was strong potential for further expansion onto a land package of just over 1,000 hectares, although the company wish to complete considerable test drill projects at Bear Creek before committing to the acquisition.
Andrew Abrahamson, Chief Operations Officer at Gold Rim Exploration Inc. explained, "The acquisition of Bear Creek is consistent with our strategy of consolidating any prospective land in proximity to any of our existing projects. This is particularly so in this case as our Victoria Gulch project has seen tremendous exploration success over the last several years."
"Our intention to further expand the project has already been discussed and we have a first refusal offer agreed in place on a further 936 hectares adjacent to Bear Creek. Once we have completed further exploration at Bear Creek we will be better positioned to agree completion on this extra land," Andrew Abrahamson concluded.
It is expected that Gold Rim Exploration Inc. will publish their test drill results in the first quarter of 2025 once all data has been collected.
