Detour Lake Operations

Exploration in Detour Lake and surrounding areas began in 2013. Gold Rim Exploration found that high-grade gold deposits were present due to the predominantly volcanic structure of the area. Following a feasibility study, Gold Rim Exploration partnered with an establishing extraction company to begin mining Gold, the only mineral the feasibility report determined profitable to extract at the site.

Detour Lake allows Gold Rim Exploration an Open-Pit operation, reducing environmental costs as well as financial and risk factors associated with underground operations.

Detour Lake is also the founding-ground to many of the now-patented technologies and devices created by Gold Rim Exploration innovation departments and led by Operations Manager Mr Coleman.
