Led by Andrés Roldán and Dr. Paul Walter, exploration in Chile commenced in 2016, with the first mining operation opening 2017. The first site in Chuquicamata ran from 2017 until it was sold in 2021. Meanwhile, 3 further operations began in Atacama, Andacollo and Santiago.

The primary focus of Gold Rim Exploration's operations in Chile is Gold, Silver and Copper. However, with Graphite in abundance in the Santiago and Andacollo regions, Gold Rim Exploration began Graphite production in early 2019, allowing operations to expand in all regions and sites.
