Led by Fadziso Moyo, a Zimbabwean native, Gold Rim Exploration began operating in Zimbabwe in the first quarter of 2023, following negotiations to join and expand a decade-old extraction operation in Esibomvu, a small village just 40km from the thriving city of Bulawayo. The operations, known locally as, "by the people, for the people," attracted global attention in 2022 when its executives announced the search for a partner in order to expand operations.
Keeping with the ethos already in place, Gold Rim Exploration will be assisting operations in a 49%-51% split with the community, by offering its expertise and technologies. A feasibility study, completed shortly before the agreement, disclosed an array of exciting possibilities for expansion and extraction enhancements over the coming months.
